This was the day/night I pierced my own lip. June 9, 2012. It completely healed up perfectly fine without any type of infection. I sanitized the needle, tongs, and the ring. My hands were also sanitized. I cleaned it 2-3 times a day, especially after eating messy food. It actually healed up better than my sister’s who got her’s professionally pierced. She got her’s done in like March and she says her’s still hurts and has to force her hoop/stud in to re-open the hole. So, I actually did a great job. I even pierced my friend’s lip too.
